Role Description:
The team is tasked with development of products that are direct customer facing. These products are meant to create a high impact on the airline operations such as "maintenance optimization", "manage technical documentation" and "ground connectivity". The development shall be carried out with cutting edge technologies and "best software development practices" such as Agile Scrum / Scaled Agile framework.
Under this philosophy the candidate shall play the role of "scrum master", who acts as the servant leader to the agile team. He / she is responsible for creating a dynamic high performing team involved in state of the art product development. In achieving that, he / she needs to implement strong agile software development practices, and ensure the team follows it.
Demonstrates "Lean Agile Leadership"
Enables high performance effective operation of Agile teams to make them:
Self-organized
o Self-managed
o Deliver via effective Lean-Agile practices
Facilitates the team's progress toward team goals by eliminating impediments
Can communicate and coordinate activities of the agile team with other teams
Facilitates the Agile ceremonials:
Sprint planning,
o Program Iteration planning
o Daily standup
o Iteration retrospective
Clear communication and status reporting to the management
Manage Agile KPIs such as:
Product backlog burndown chart
o Sprint burn-up charts
o Release burndown chart
o Team velocity etc...
Capture learnings and ensure knowledge management
Create Design Dossiers for the application and code, if necessary
